We are all looking forward to the forthcoming European Jewish Choral Festival in St.Petersburg. This summer, July 5th-9th, 2017, an outstanding event will be taking place - the 5th European Jewish Music and Choir Festival.
On the banks of the Neva River, the best Jewish choirs from Europe, Israel and Russia meet together to celebrate Jewish music.
Jewish choral singing has already conquered London, Vienna, and Rome, and is finally coming to St. Petersburg.
Spectators will be able to enjoy stirring Klezmer music, choral polyphony in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, at the best city musical venues: the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre, Saint Petersburg State Academic Capella.
Free concerts at the halls of Petrikirche and Grand Choral Synagogue will be presented as a gift from the Festival’s participants to the city Vienna.
Klezmer Orchestra – the only full klezmer orchestra in the world – which is participating in the Festival for the first time.
